The game

Driven Trail stores game progress, collected gems, completed hunts, lap records, preferences and the downloaded area on your device. The game does not require an account and does not send these saves to a developer-operated server.

Optional location and maps

When you open the neighborhood picker, it can center automatically on your location if you grant iOS location permission. You can decline permission and search or move the map instead. Practice Park works without location access.

The picker uses Apple Maps and Apple’s place search. Your selected map center is saved locally. Downloading an area requests map and elevation tiles from OpenFreeMap and the Mapzen Terrain Tiles service hosted on AWS. Those providers receive the network request, including your IP address and the requested geographic tile area, and may retain service logs under their own policies.

Driven Trail does not track your location in the background or record a GPS travel history. Driving and on-foot movement use game controls. Downloaded map data is a simplified game representation.

This website

Cloudflare hosts driventrail.com and processes ordinary network information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP addresses and request details. We have not added advertising trackers, analytics scripts, accounts or contact forms to this site.

Apple handles App Store and TestFlight services, including any diagnostics or beta feedback you choose to share. Links to Apple, PicketZen and map providers open services with their own policies.

Your choices

You can change location access in iOS Settings. The game can use a manually selected area or its offline practice map. Removing the app also removes its local game data, subject to any device backups you control. To ask a privacy question, use an official messaging channel linked from PicketZen.
